Hi, we're Labyrinth Interactive, a new indie outfit working on our first project, and we'd like to share our progress with you! We have a few places that you can find us, so just follow the links below if you'd like to keep up to date with the latest news on how Unbreakable is going throughout production!
And if you'd like to download the FREE alpha, follow the link below!
Unbreakable: Scorched Earth is primarily a third person castle defence game, utilising hack and slasher combat and an RTS style mechanic in which you can place defences to help you prevent the enemy advance. The Dracorians, a race of dragon tamers, have all but destroyed the elven kingdom and are now threatening to continue into the real of men. After a fierce battle to push the Dracorians from taking the last elven city, strongholds were built outside the closest cities of men to defend against the inevitable arrival of the enemy - Ellental's Fortress in the North, and Arcello's Lookout on the coast to the South. Both now await the oncoming horde; if the strongholds fall, nothing will prevent the Dracorians from destroying everything in their path.
What can you do in Unbreakable:
- Face off against hundreds of enemies during each wave
- Fight the way that you want, using both melee and ranged combat to vanquish your enemies
- Use different weapon types to alter your player abilities, allowing for multiple, customisable playstyles
- Create your own strategies using a seamless RTS camera to place defensive structures, units and emplacements wherever you want on the battlefield
We've already released a free alpha on Desura (that you can find via the link at the top of the post) and since the first version we've updated it already. We're planning on updating the game often with extra mechanics and models, improving the aesthetics and fixing any bugs we're aware of. For that, we need your feedback - play the game, break it, let us know what you enjoy and what you think needs re-working, and we'll try to do what we can to make the experience better for everyone!
There are tonnes of extra screenshots and a few developer diaries for you to find over at our website, and the link is right here: http://labyrinthinteractive.com/gallery/
Otherwise, if you'd like to ask any questions or even want to just chat about the game, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for reading, and we hope you enjoy Unbreakable!
